10:00: Museo de la Memoria (Memory Museum)

The Museum of Memory and Human Rights is a space designed to give visibility to the human rights violations committed by the Chilean State between 1973 and 1990; to dignify the victims and their families; and to stimulate reflection and debate on the importance of respect and tolerance, so that these events are never repeated. 11:30: Visit “La Moneda”

La Moneda is the headquarters of the Chilean government and the office of the president. The building is a pure neoclassical style and an exceptional example of an architectural style and techniques typical of an entire stage of human history.

12:00: Visit “Santa Lucia” hill

Located steps from the civic center of Santiago, Cerro Santa Lucía is a historical and cultural icon of the city and the Metropolitan Region. The Mapuches called it Huelén, a word that in Mapudungún means melancholy, sadness or pain. It is a hill of 69 m. high, covering 65,300 m2, originally it was a wild rock that was used as a viewpoint because from its top there was a panoramic view of the territory. After the arrival of the Spanish, Pedro de Valdivia renamed it Santa Lucía and founded the city of Santiago at its feet on February 12, 1541.

Bocanáriz is a restaurant and wine shop. It is the showcase of Chilean wine located in the heart of the patrimonial Lastarria neighborhood. It has an extensive wine list and exquisite cuisine.
